Triangle Flying Disc Association Buys Land for Fields

It is official. In a first of its kind, the Triangle Flying Disc Association of North Carolina has finally purchased the land necessary to build their Ultiplex. The 22 acre location for the fields was selected back in 2008, but a lengthy rezoning case ensued, with two hearings before the Durham County Board of Commissioners in April    2011 and September 2011.

The second hearing saw a 4-0 decision in favor of TFDA’s Ultiplex proposals after several concessions including reducing the field size from 8 to 6, among others.
